In Canada there is an amazing program that was spearheaded by Easter Seals to help with ensuring that persons with disabilities can access various forms of entertainment easier by providing either free admission for a support person or a significant discount for a support person. I think this program is fantastic! Now I cannot state what places in other provinces are working with Easter Seals to provide this wonderful option, but in Ontario (where I am) they are as follows:

All it costs to obtain this pass is $20, it’s good for 5 years, and anyone can be the support person that accompanies the card holder. For example it doesn’t matter if it’s myself, my husband or a paid respite worker that takes my son. I’ve included the link for the application form here: http://www.howesound.net/userfiles/Access%202%20New%20Applicant%20Form.pdf
A medical health professional does have to sign it (but they are fantastic in their list of all that they deem acceptable as someone to verify that the cardholder has a disability.)
Please read before commenting: No I am NOT stating that Autism is a disability, I’m simply reiterating the wording used by Easter Seals and partners in their description of the card. Overall I think it’s a wonderful tool that could be used for ABA Therapy either with a parent or a respite worker as well as providing a potentially lovely memory for whomever the card holder is and the person that accompanies them 😀
I really like your wp theme, exactly where would you down load it from?
I got it on here (wordpress) In their “new” section 😀
